Frequently Asked Questions
Are you accepting new patients?
We welcome new patients and would be honored to include you in the Dignified Primary Health Care community. If you need episodic care, you may book a one-time virtual consult here (insert hyperlink). Additionally, for those interested in joining our private practice for ongoing primary care, please reach out to us for additional details. Your well-being is our priority, and we look forward to being your dedicated healthcare partner.
Do you accept OHIP?
We do not accept OHIP for our appointment fees because Nurse Practitioners cannot bill OHIP for their services. Nevertheless, your OHIP coverage can be utilized for third-party services like diagnostics and other tests.
What's the difference between Doctors and Nurse Practitioners?
Nurse Practitioners at Dignified Primary Health Care perform all the tasks expected of a General Practice Practitioner, including prescribing medication, managing chronic diseases, conducting physical check-ups, ordering procedures, referring clients to specialists, and more. Our practice, available through annual plans, provides comprehensive services similar to those found in a full-service Family Clinic.
Can a Nurse Practitioner become my primary care provider?
